Are you ready to take on a strategic role as a Technical Director in Interconnection or Transmission Planning within the Eastern Interconnect? We're seeking an experienced leader with expertise in complex interconnection studies, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to make an impact. In this role, you will:

• Provide Expert Guidance: Advise on advanced interconnection studies, including load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis across multiple ISOs and Utilities.
• Lead Innovation: Support the development of new tools and services in collaboration with leadership, enhancing our capabilities and value to clients.
• Navigate Interconnection Processes: Guide generation, large load, and merchant transmission developers through interconnection requirements across the Eastern Interconnect.
• Drive Industry Engagement: Represent the team through industry conferences, technical paper submissions, and speaking opportunities, while staying informed on regulatory updates.
• Mentor and Grow Talent: Share your expertise by coaching teams internally, while fostering relationships with key stakeholders and industry organizations.

What You Bring:

• At least 8 years in the electric energy industry, with experience in IBR modeling, transmission planning, and interconnection studies.
• Proficiency with software such as PSSE, TARA, PSLF, PowerWorld, ASPEN, and PSCAD.
• Strong understanding of FERC, NERC, and ISO requirements, plus a track record in industry taskforces or working groups.
• Leadership experience and a commitment to collaborative, impactful work.
