In this role, you will:
Provide Expert Guidance: Advise on advanced interconnection studies, including load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis across multiple ISOs and Utilities.
Lead Innovation: Support the development of new tools and services in collaboration with leadership, enhancing our capabilities and value to clients.
Navigate Interconnection Processes: Guide generation, large load, and merchant transmission developers through interconnection requirements across the Eastern Interconnect.
Drive Industry Engagement: Represent the team through industry conferences, technical paper submissions, and speaking opportunities, while staying informed on regulatory updates.
Mentor and Grow Talent: Share your expertise by coaching teams internally, while fostering relationships with key stakeholders and industry organizations.
What You Bring:
At least 8 years in the electric energy industry, with experience in IBR modeling, transmission planning, and interconnection studies.
Proficiency with software such as PSSE, TARA, PSLF, PowerWorld, ASPEN, and PSCAD.
Strong understanding of FERC, NERC, and ISO requirements, plus a track record in industry taskforces or working groups.
Leadership experience and a commitment to collaborative, impactful work.
