SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - OFFSHORE WIND ADVISORY

CSG Talent is partnering with a global leader in the advisory services industry, who are looking to add new talent to their Wind - Offshore team. They are a century-old business with a rich history of innovation, supporting businesses in navigating complex landscapes.

They are seeking a candidate with a consulting - advisory background in offshore wind services.

This position is remote - Western Europe with 20% EMEA travel.

The role will involve managing complex technical due diligence and market intelligence assignments for high-profile clients, covering the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client meetings and act as the primary client interface.
  • Manage complex owners engineering, independent engineering, technical advisory, and market intelligence services.
  • Oversee technology review, civil and electrical design review, contract review, project scheduling, business case assessment, environmental and permitting review, and site visits.
  • Compile and complete independent engineering and technical advisory reports.
  • Prepare proposals, manage resources, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate and lead project status meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure the use of best industry practices.
  • Proactively identify project needs and implement solutions.
  • Support business development activities, including identifying potential clients and representing the company at industry events.

Qualifications

  • Academic background in Project Management, Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Energy Services or Planning and Consents.
  • At least 5+ years' experience in project management/engineering in the wind industry.
  • Deep understanding of technical due diligence and risk assessment.
  • Experience in the full project lifecycle for wind developments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to take on leadership and business development responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work remotely and with global teams.
  • Proficiency in English, with additional language skills being an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within the EMEA region.
