About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team in Edison, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating complex electrical systems including power, lighting, and medium-voltage distribution - ideally within industries such as pharmaceuticals, hospitals, and data centers. You'll play a key role in developing accurate, competitive estimates and supporting project success from the preconstruction phase through to execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for electrical power and lighting systems

• Perform quantity take-offs and assign material and labor values

• Source vendor pricing for specialty equipment and materials

• Collaborate in estimate reviews and monitor cost trends vs. final estimates

• Evaluate subcontractor bids and assist with scope reviews

• Participate in scope changes, field orders, and change order pricing

• Attend project kickoff and handoff meetings

• Occasionally travel to job sites as needed

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical estimating

• Experience with projects in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, data centers, or substations

• Electrical Engineering degree preferred

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of ConEst is a plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
