Are you a motivated and results-driven sales professional with a passion for space technology?

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development and Sales Manager to join a growing start up that serves the NewSpace industry. This role will be based in the US and will involve driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships across the USA.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities within the space industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer organizations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and address technical inquiries.
  • Lead a small team with the intentions to grow a team around you.

Key Requirements:

  • A proven track record in technical sales, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Proven track record of success in a sales role, including quota attainment.
  • Strong understanding of the space industry.
  • Experience with CAD or simulation software (e.g. SolidWorks, or similar)
  • Track record of leading a small team and having managerial duties
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Nice to haves:

  • Have experience using HubSpot as a CRM system
  • Have a large network of Space contacts within NewSpace
