CSG Talent is representing a National Employee-Owned Engineering firm in the search for a National PFAS Practice Leader. This individual will drive growth and technical excellence across their expanding national PFAS practice, whilst driving innovation and keeping up with regulations etc.
This role is ideal for a technical expert with a strong background in PFAS remediation across the commercial, industrial, and federal sectors. The successful candidate will lead complex remediation projects, shape the firm's service offerings, and strengthen client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
- Lead and expand the firm's national PFAS practice, identifying emerging trends, new markets, and innovative service offerings to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to position the firm as an industry leader in PFAS remediation.
- Project & Technical Leadership
- Oversee and manage large-scale PFAS and remediation projects, ensuring successful execution, technical excellence, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide expert consultation on complex remedial treatment options, leveraging advanced engineering and scientific methodologies.
- Lead the design and implementation of field pilot studies for in situ remediation technologies, overseeing field operations and laboratory testing.
- Client & Business Development
- Serve as a key client-facing leader, fostering strong relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities for business growth, and enhancing the firm's reputation in the market.
- Support business development efforts, including proposal development, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor and supervise a multidisciplinary team of remediation engineers, scientists, and subcontractors, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and professional growth.
- Provide guidance on project execution, risk management, and best practices in PFAS investigation and remediation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in site remediation, with significant expertise in emerging contaminants and PFAS treatment technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental or chemical engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional certification (P.E., P.G., or equivalent) required.
- Strong technical knowledge of PFAS remediation and site characterization, paired with analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to lead remedial design and implementation operations across aviation, industrial, and federal sectors.
- Extensive experience building client relationships and developing a pipeline of PFAS remediation business.
- Experience working in a consulting or contracting firm environment.
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and managerial skills, with the ability to engage teams across multiple locations.
