Are you an experienced National Account Manager working with licensed products?

Do you have experience working within the Mass Markets and with Discounters?

My client is a global Toy business, leading within their sector, and due to growth are looking to add multiple salespeople to their team starting with a National Account Manager to manage their Mass market and Discount channels.

The role

As a National Account Manager you will report directly into the UK Sales Director and will be responsible for a mix of Mass market and Discount customers. It will be your responsibility to promote the company brand and be the first point of contact within your accounts. You will also be required to meet with your customers on average once a quarter. This role is remote based, with travel to the office one day per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly oversee and be responsible for the growth of certain accounts
  • Responsible for the sales budget
  • Proactively manage the sales life-cycle from introduction to point of delivery
  • Lead and deliver sales presentations to decision makers within your key customers
  • Sell in new stock
  • Be the ambassador of the company within your accounts
  • Keep abreast of what the competition are doing

Ideal Candidate

You will already be a successful National Account Manager working for a creative business and have experience working within Mass market/ with Discount accounts. You will be confident and comfortable managing and collaborating with cross functional teams of experts. You must be able to work within a fast-paced changing environment; and have the ability to build strong business and personal relationships; whilst developing and implementing creative, sustainable, mutually profitable business solutions

Key requirements

  • Toy industry experience is an advantage, as well as experience managing Mass market accounts
  • Demonstrate account growth within your current job role
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Highly organised in follow up & planning
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent numerical skills, proficient use of Power point, Google Suite & Excel
  • Highly motivated
  • Highly recommended by their buyers!
  • Team player - a good fit within our team is crucial
  • Strong Negotiator

Ability to manage account P&L, including marketing and promotional budgets
