Green Systems Engineer - Mining

Are you a global Green Systems Engineer with at least 5 years experience in mining decarbonizing systems?

Does modelling and analysing an Integrated Energy Balance plan with stakeholders in Morocco align with your career progress?

My client, a global leader in their industry, are seeking an experienced Green Systems Engineer to relocate to Morocco ( assistance provided) join the team in Marrakesh, and assist them in achieving optimal infrastructure design.

You will bring with you -

• Experience in developing models, analysing, and optimising in a mining context
• Experience with optimisation techniques and tools appropriate for optimising simulations of dynamic systems
• Experience in working with industry-standard Power system models (e.g., PLEXOS)
• Analysing large-scale data sets to inform business decisions
• Experience with coding languages such as Python

Because of this depth of knowledge, this is not a role for a recently graduated intern - we need at least 5 years experience in the industry to allow you to bring the skills and experience to the team

Your knowledge and a technical understanding of the nature of energy demand in the mining world, and electrical power systems, along with knowledge of renewable energy technologies, and an understanding of energy storage systems and grid integration will be ideal for this opportunity.

Ability to interpret complex system simulations and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences is a skill we are looking for too.
