We are partnered with a global leader in rock and resource analytics, who are on a mission to revolutionise the mining industry, leveraging robotics, sensors, AI, machine vision & resource modelling. We are partnered with them on a unique position, Client Relations Manager, who will build & maintain long-lasting relationship, and advance their leadership in the industry.

This exciting role will be responsible for managing client engagement throughout their project life cycle, whilst collaborating closely with project geologists. A Geology/Mining background is highly desirable for this position, as well as strong experience selling mining technology.

This role will be based in Vancouver, BC, with travel up to 40% on a global scale.

In this Client Relations Manager - Geology position you will also be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. This will include in-person and digital client engagement to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Managing project scoping and execution of deliverables alongside project geologists and operations to ensure value driven objectives and key deliverables are met, within scope, and within budget.
  • Supporting project geologists with client-facing requirements, providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Working closely with the Discovery team and other internal stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of innovative data and technology solutions.
  • Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company's products, services, and technical capabilities and their impacts on the mining industry. Leverage this knowledge to provide proactive support and identify expansion opportunities and steady project growth.
  • Understanding clients' business goals, technical requirements, and challenges. Act as a client advocate within the company.
  • Assisting in contract development and renewals by demonstrating the value and ROI of our offerings. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships through additional products or services.
  • Partnering with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and support, to address client needs and resolve issues efficiently.

Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or Mining Engineering.
  • 7 years' experience selling mining technology solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear messages for clients.
  • Based in Vancouver, BC & willing to travel globally.
