Assistant Operations Manager

We're exclusively partnered with a leading milling manufacturer, known for high-quality products and a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence. Their facility is located in Arkansas, supporting state of the art milling/production.

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Operations Manager to join their growing team. This is a newly created role designed to support their expanding operations. You'll work closely with the VP of Manufacturing to oversee daily operations of the facility, drive efficiency across their production facility, and lead a team of 10-12 direct reports within a site of 40-50 employees.

You will assist in managing day-to-day operations of rice milling and production, leading, coaching, and developing a team of supervisors and hourly staff. We're looking for someone to drive performance metrics related to safety, quality, production, and efficiency, where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain and field operations.

If you have a proven track record in implementing and upholding standard operating procedures and continuous improvement initiatives, you've monitored budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization, ensured compliance with safety, environmental, and food safety regulations, then this could be an ideal fit for you.
