CSG Talent has clear, defined career paths for every function and is heavily invested in continuous training and development tailored around the individual and their career goals. 

This includes a structured training programme run by our L&D team, our on-demand platform - Thrive, external training, as well as our Management Development Programme and regular consultant-led workshops to share best practices.

As well as investment in people, we are focused on investing in the latest recruitment technologies to make our day-to-day roles more efficient, and to leverage earning potential. 

Recruitment Consultants & Researchers

The pathway for Recruitment Consultants & Researchers is clear, with transparent salary bands and reward levels. We know that not everybody wants to manage people, so we offer two routes - a billing route and a management route. For those who decide to take the management route, our Management Development Programme is built to inspire the next generation of leaders and equip them with the tools they need to do this, whilst still maintaining their fee level.

 

Growth Teams

Our Finance, IT, Marketing and Business Operations are the backbone of CSG Talent. There isn’t one set route in our support teams, however, each of our managers is dedicated to discussing your career goals and objectives to ensure you are heading in the right direction to progress in whichever way you choose. That could be into Management or a specialism.

 

Week 1-6

Onboarding & Systems Training with Maria

Maria will work with you from day one to help you to settle in, start learning the ‘CSG way’ framework and get you collaborating with your own team and wider teams from the business. She will get you up to speed on our range of tools and systems to help you be successful in your role.

Maria will be your biggest cheerleader through to your probation and beyond. 

Week 6-12

Advanced Training with Abby

At this point, Abby will begin advanced training with you, honing in on the areas that you want to further develop yourself in.

You'll start to drill down on the areas you need to further focus on, this might include targeted training on certain areas of the business development pathway or a focus on nurturing clients and account management. Whatever you need, Abby will be there to support you whether it's in-person sessions, online workshops or directing you to resources.

Week 12 & Beyond

Your Development Doesn't Stop There

After 6 months, the support doesn’t stop. Abby, Maria and the team will be on hand for anything you need, supported by: Learning Lounges, focused programmes such as REFINE, our online platform Thrive, Peer-to-peer workshops, Podcasts, and so much more.

Depending on how you see your career progressing, you'll also have access to a Management Development Programme. This is available to new and existing managers.
