  • Regions covered:

Thamara joined the CSG Adelaide office in 2021 to support recruitment across the Building and Architectural Products sector. This includes sourcing specialist talent for several roles in construction, building materials, machinery, and packaging, to name but a few specialisms. As part of her role, she has a strong focus on candidate sourcing and management and works closely with candidates at all levels across the industry.

Thamara has a strong background in recruitment, having worked both in-house and agency side during her career. Because of this, she has a grounded understanding of clients’ recruitment practices, having managed the entire process hundreds of times. Her in-house experience has supported her in developing excellent candidate management skills and processes, and in prioritising not only the hiring process, but also the onboarding, ensuring continuous candidate and client satisfaction in role.

Thamara graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and went on to complete an MBA with an emphasis on international leadership. She has honed the skills she developed at university in the professional world, having worked as Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist for a large educational organisation, and prior to that, as a recruiter in the entertainment and manufacturing industries.

Thamara has a deep passion for learning and building relationships. She is constantly curious about what is happening in her industry and sharing her learnings with candidates and clients.

“I love learning about industry trends and how they impact hiring in the sector. It’s really great to be able to discuss this with my candidates and ensure that they are informed when considering their next career move.”
