Job Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business growth and managing key client relationships for our Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) specializing in Personal Care and Nutritional Supplement products. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and closing opportunities with brand owners, startups, and established companies seeking formulation, manufacturing, packaging, and regulatory support.

The ideal candidate has strong B2B sales experience within contract manufacturing, ingredients, or finished goods, and understands the unique needs of Personal Care and/or Nutritional Supplement brands.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Personal Care and Nutritional Supplement brands, including startups, SMEs, and multinational companies
  • Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and contract closure
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned with revenue and growth targets
  • Proactively prospect through networking, industry events, trade shows, inbound leads, and outbound outreach
  • Build long-term, consultative relationships by understanding client needs, brand positioning, and go-to-market strategies
  • Coordinate internally with R&D, operations, quality, regulatory, and supply chain teams to deliver tailored CDMO solutions

Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across formulation, manufacturing, packaging, and value-added services

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Nutrition, or a related field
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within a CDMO, contract manufacturing, ingredients, or related industry
  • Strong understanding of Personal Care and/or Nutritional Supplement product development and manufacturing processes
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience selling complex, customized solutions rather than off-the-shelf products

Preferred

  • Existing network of contacts within Personal Care, Beauty, Wellness, or Nutritional Supplement brands
  • Familiarity with regulatory considerations (e.g., GMP, FDA, EFSA, cosmetics regulations)
  • Experience working with startups and emerging brands as well as established companies
