Glazing Drafter

Support others in the development of technical drawings. The Glazing Drafter is responsible for all aspects of the design process.

Role and Responsibilities

• Create layout and tag drawings for installation.
• Create fabrication drawings and models.
• Read and interpret project Architectural and Structural drawings.
• Read and interpret project specifications.
• Provide support to factory and field personnel as needed.
• Follow best practice drafting and modeling standards.
• Use education and company provided training to further develop required skills.
• Additional items as needed by design department.

Skills and Abilities

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD required
• Working knowledge of 3D modeling software (Inventor/SolidWorks) required
