CSG Talent began work with Multi-Color Corporation in March 2022, and the Print, Packaging & Labels recruitment team have already placed numerous candidates. Our team collaborates closely with the HR team at Multi-Color Corporation. 

The Brief

Cheryl Haines, our Senior Recruitment Consultant within the Print, Packaging & Labels industry, engaged with Multi-Color Corporation after the HR team urgently needed to fill two Operational Excellence Leader roles, one in Queensland and one in New Zealand. Multi-Color Corporation are a well known company with high standards and requirements when hiring new team members. They seek candidates with strong industry expertise and experience as well as sourcing talent who are a great cultural fit for the business, with candidates who feel aligned to the culture of the business themselves.

The Operational Excellence Leader roles were vital in the role of negotiating with internal stakeholders and to manage the relationship with General Managers across all global sites. Multi-Color Corporation were keen to recruit a candidate with strong leadership skills within manufacturing so they would be able to add instant value to the role and drive performance and efficiencies. 

The Process

The Print, Packaging & Labels team has a rigorous process for finding active and passive candidates for any role. CSG Talent first conducted an in-depth market map, targeting manufacturing companies around Australia and New Zealand. They used our extensive database to access a vast talent pool of engaged candidates. Additionally, our team took advantage of social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, conducting a headhunt and network search.

To fully understand Multi-Color Corporation's structure, employees and culture, as key point of contact, Cheryl Haines flew from Queensland to Adelaide and visited their factory. This provided valuable insight into the business operations and the working environment. The recruitment team at CSG Talent were dedicated to extensively sourcing and evaluating the relevant talent within the industry, having in-depth conversations to effectively sell the opportunity and the business culture, working as a true brand ambassador for the client.
